At Dayna's Photography, client satisfaction is a top priority. This Refund Policy explains our terms regarding cancellations, rescheduling, session payments, and product purchases.
By booking a session or purchasing products through our website, you agree to the terms below.
1. Retainer/Deposit

A non-refundable retainer (deposit) is required to secure your session date and time.

This retainer covers administrative work and holds your spot, meaning we turn away other potential clients for that date.

In most cases, retainers are not refundable unless Dayna's Photography cancels the session and cannot offer a reschedule.
2. Session Cancellation & Rescheduling
By the Client:

If you need to cancel your session, please provide at least 48 notice.

Retainers are non-refundable, but may be transferred once to a new date if you reschedule with adequate notice and within 30 days.

No-shows or cancellations without sufficient notice may result in loss of the retainer and session fee.
By the Photographer:

In the rare event that we must cancel due to illness, emergency, or unsafe conditions (e.g. severe weather), your session will be rescheduled at no additional cost.

If a reschedule is not possible, a full refund of any payments made will be issued.
3. Digital Products (Photos)

Due to the custom and digital nature of photography, no refunds will be issued once:

Your session has taken place.

Final images have been delivered via online gallery or download link.

If you are unhappy with your images, please reach out within 7 days of delivery so we can address your concerns. While refunds are not guaranteed, we are committed to your satisfaction and will make reasonable efforts to resolve issues.
4. Prints & Physical Products

All printed products (albums, prints, canvases, etc.) are custom-made and non-refundable once ordered.

If a product arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the issue. We will work with the print lab to replace the item at no additional cost.
6. Exceptions
Refunds may be granted at the sole discretion of Dayna's Photography in exceptional circumstances. Each situation will be evaluated individually.
7.Covid-19
In the event that a clients photoshoot is impacted by and requires rescheduling due to Covid-19 (including a lockdown or border closures), the retainer paid to Dayna's Photography will be applied to a rescheduled session at the availability of Dayna's Photography
